On Monday we reminded everyone about the Lifetime Monday Phone Calls campaign. Patty, who is a member of the Save Blood Ties Yahoo Group posted a message on the group earlier today letting us all know that she got a return phone call from Lifetime today after leaving them a voicemail on Monday. She was told we are doing all we can do and there is a lot of interest in the show. The show has NOT been canceled but is still in limbo. Patty was also told the phone calls and e-mails are being kept track of and counted.
So keep working the campaigns and posting about Blood Ties on the forums, blogs and websites!

I really hope that Blood Ties will be brought back. This is the best vampire show that I every remember seeing. I am a very big fan of vampire shows and movies and this is my favorite by far.

[...] The show is a Canadian production and aired on the Lifetime network. They did not air the last two episodes, only made them available online. SaveBloodTies.org has a posting about a someone from Lifetime stating that “The show has NOT been canceled but is still in limbo.” [...]

This is great news.
I just tried to call Lifetime(I know that it’s past 6, but I wanted to try anyway) and the call wouldn’t go through. How sad. I might be having issues because it is not a local call for me. I will try once more and then I will try even harder next Monday.

Ok not to shake things up but I just went on thefutoncritic.com and they are saying that the show has been “confirmed as canceled on 4/14/08″ They don’t say anything but that. Please say it isn’t so….!!! I don’t think that Lifetime would be saying that it is in limbo if it wasn’t true! I really don’t think I could handle it if it was true!

I’ve sent an email to the folks at thefutoncritic.com to see if I can get some more details on their source for that information. Until we get official details I’d hold off worrying about this. I plan to call Lifetime on Tuesday myself.
