Christina Cox and Tanya Huff Nominated for Constellation Awards

It was recently announced that Blood Ties actress Christina Cox and author Tanya Huff have been nominated for Constellation Awards.

The Constellation Awards are Canada’s Fan Awards for Excellence in Science Fiction Television and Film.

Christina was nominated in the “Best Female Performance in a 2007 Science Fiction Television Episode” category for the episode “5:55″.

Tanya was nominated for “Outstanding Canadian Contribution to Science Fiction Film or Television in 2007″.

    Excellent! Are these awards voted on by fans? This is another great talking point for the show. Wonderful to see Christina getting the recognition she deserves.

    Excellent! 5:55 is my favorite episode. Christina created so many different emotions and parts to Vicki that we had never really seen in depth. Absolutely hope she wins this – she definitely deserves this award.
    And Tanya – without Tanya’s incredible books we would’n't have had Blood Ties so Kudos to Tanya and here’s to both ladies winning their categories.
